No, but "adding and removing words" is not a repost either, it's sounds like somebody telling a similar joke using the same meme, it annoys me when somebody cries repost just because they think they know, or heard the joke already.

You're using a meme, the same meme everybody else uses, it's the definition of unoriginal! Don't get me wrong, I'm not supporting reposting, if you don't have a sense of humor, and need to steal one from someone else why even bother, I'm just saying what this meme is describing isn't a repost.

How do you define repost? My definition is somebody going to another users profile and creating the same meme that someone else already made, and submitting with their name on it. But somebody telling the same joke that they heard that day, and making into a meme is not repost, maybe the joke was a meme before it became a meme, do you see my point?

There are definitely some grey areas with reposting. I imagine the people who do it are usually aware when they cross that line, but it's not always easy to tell if you're not the one who made the meme.

I think people on this site tend to be overly sensitive, crying "Repost!" when it's just a similar joke, or a similar concept. I don't think that's right.
