Good on her for recognising that gay marriage is not a valid marriage

I made it because I was frustrated at seeing people use her past divorces to dismiss her actions and her views.

Her personal life doesn't have anything to do with it.

If what she's doing is wrong, then it's still wrong, even if she had only been married once, and it's a perfect marriage.

If what she's doing was right in her capacity as county clerk, then it doesn't matter if her personal life is in shambles - it was still the right thing to do on the job.

They're separate issues.

The argument that because someone fails to live up to their ideals means the government can force people to violate their ideals is absurd. It would be like saying since I have had anger in my heart unjustly then the state can force me to perform an abortion even if I feel abortion is wrong...oh wait I can see statists wanting to do that one next. Me and my big mouth

Is that what they're arguing? That the government should force her to violate her ideals because she didn't live up to them? Wow.

I wasn't aware of that. I've honestly been surprised by the level of vitriol directed at this woman in memes on imgflip. That's partly what motivated me to make a couple as much in her favour as I could, to kind of balance it out. And I don't like social media character assassination.
