Heh... Heh... I doubt that we're gonna see it's end. Because the hate is fueled by the people in power. They manipulate people's hate and ignorance to create more hate and ignorance. I don't know, it is very hard to see it's end. In my country, we have three nationalities, Croats, Serbs and Bosniaks. We had a war 20 years ago, and it is just the last war of the many we had. It was more or less, everybody vs everybody. We have the same language, speak the same, look the same, have similar mentalities... And yet people hate each others. We have three school programs and each are taught lies by their history professors, and the hate is being supported by politicians and institutions. It's hard to see it's end. Don't know, but yet, some people like me for example realise this, and some don't. I guess some people just don't have the guts to face the truth.
You see, I come from a Croatian background. I come from a predominantly Croatian town, most of the people from my town don't go to study in Sarajevo, our capital, because Sarajevo is populated mostly by Bosniaks. Some parents don't allow their children to go to study in Sarajevo, I know people with those experiences, a lot of people actually. People from my town sometimes ask me questions about Sarajevo, like it's a city on another continent and not our capital. Most of them have never been in it. It is hate, insecurity, prejudices and ignorance. And lack of curiosity and critical mind. And from what I see, it will take much, much more time for it to change. Centuries maybe.
