Before midnight, yes... after midnight, looting.

The criminals shooting at cops are the ones who loot. There are two types of people in those communities. Criminals and people who obey the law. Not everyone living in a "bad" neighborhood is a criminal.

Agreed - I just find it hard to muster support for the latest shooting when it appears to have been thoroughly justified. It is only the lives of gun toting thugs that I am inclined to devalue as they have already debased them.

It's definitely a subject that requires debate on a case by case basis. I think it can't always be seen as bad guy vs good cop or bad cop vs good guy. And I fully understand that there is a ridiculous amount of black on black crime. It's a completely different argument. There is a cycle of violence that is misunderstood. Everytime you hear about a grandma or a child getting shot accidentally by gang gun fire, that gets "dealt" with. Then there is more retaliation. So on an so on. Most people outside of these communities don't understand that. It's all about revenge.

That's also how criminals view the looting as being justified. You take from us we take from you.
