~Stance on treating Homosexuals and Bisexuals
~There being no corporate tax
~For capital punishment (I'm against it because its more expensive than a life imprisonment and 1/4 executions are either botched or false condemned)
~Making the DOE much smaller
~Stating that Climate Change is a hoax
~Sanctioning Iran
~No Free trade (in an ideal world)
~Allowing unlimited personal contributions to a government official's campaign
~No (logical) gun control
~Having the largest nuclear arsenal
~Disagreeing with the unemployment rate (its 20% if you do not include students and seniors)
~Stating that social security is not an entitlement (My Opinion: it is, but the amount you gain depends on how much you contribute to your society)
~Boots on the ground for ISIL (let the Kurds deal with it with our areal support)
~Keeping Religion in Politics (you are free to practice your own religion whenever you want, but it should not be a talking point in politics)
~Privatizing Social Security (it didn't work for prisons)

You know what we need? We should have a mandatory citizenship test for EVERYONE in America, even those born here. Then maybe people would know a little about how our government actually works instead of thinking of it as "that thing that I hear about sometimes that controls everyone's lives". As an added bonus, they might feel a bit more sympathetic to immigrants who start out even worse than them--after all, it must not be easy learning one of the most confusing languages in the world--

Well, my point is, I live in Arizona somewhat near the border. Hence, we get a lot of immigrants and all this controversy over illegals, blah blah blah... Their language is not derived from German, and it's considered one of the hardest languages to learn. Just imagine what immigrants have to go through: learning about our government, our language... It's sad how a third of Americans don't know how the government works and many kids still manage to fail English class.

I'm Mexican! And those idiot illegals are cutting in line of real immigrants doing it legally. I'm Mexican!

Then maybe we should make it easier for the people that are fleeing death threats, and give them opportunities in life...I'm not suggesting that we let in criminals...I'm suggesting that we regulate immigration in a fair way, allowing a path to gain citizenship.

I don't want bad people in my country, But I do feel compassionate enough to give a group of people that want a better life a shot at a better life, and I am willing to pay for that in my tax dollars...

Which would you think would be more expensive? Building a wall...or regulating immigration, requiring people entering to contribute to society, and spending the capital required to build the wall instead on some useful infrastructure...such as HSR, or even fixing our interstate freeways?

Completely agree...I do feel that even with more taxes, the government could benefit many more people, potentially growing the economy...

I see the conservative problem to mainly be the fault of the News Media, and the politicians...This is why I watch all CNN, MSNBC, NPR, & VICE (News & on HBO) Directly for News, and Satire when I'm bored...I would watch FOX News, but some of the stuff Bill O'Riley & Sean Hannity say offend me (The Clive Bundy Standoff for example & Blaming Liberals for all the problems). I want an accurate conservative news source, but aside from FOX, theres only CNN, and even then they aren't that good (neither is MSNBC, at most I watch 1 show a day). The problem is that there is no other news source for Conservatives to turn, whereas liberals have many options (ABC, NBC, MSNBC, CBS), with some channels more liberal than others...

Conservatives both say they want the government to save us, but act as if they want to save themselves...which lead to things like the patriot act, but those aren't the things the government should be saving, they should be saving up for the benefit of the individual, and that is why I believe that conservatives are in some ways mis-informed...Don't get me wrong, Liberals always take things out of context, and no side is perfect...My point is that both sides (especially the conservatives) need to have better sources of information

They already are, but its not just Mexico, but Central America, and may of these countries are extremely poor...with many of them in an Anarchy or an Oligarchy, they would need the world's support

I never took into account the illiteracy problem, but the Mexicans are settling in already Spanish-fluent areas...Such as Nogales, El Paso and Tucson...Albuquerque is also a big one...I agree that immigrants shouldn't be able to collect benefits unless they contribute to the country...but many of them do! Most of our fruit is picked by immigrants, and a lot of our trades people are immigrants

But with that said, English isn't even consider the first language of the US (congress couldn't even vote on that!), and the illiteracy problem would be fixed if Spanish was accepted as a Second Language...in many areas (cities I named earlier for example)...it already is

We all take benefits from the government, and that comes from our taxes...It would be much easier to give these immigrants an easier way to citizenship...which would require them to pay taxes for these benefits...Fighting them is just going to cost insane amounts of money...If we help them out, they will help grow our economy

How bout Third generation Italian American conservatives asserting that their grandparents came here to work 80 hours a week and still took the time to learn how to speak English?! What a crock! Like learning English was tgeir first priority. It may have been a priority to ensure their children learned English, but I'm sure they were a little too busy sweating in restaurants to learn to speak it fluently. But congrats to the few people who have grandparents that were exceptional multitaskers. You must feel so superior for your granparents achievements!
