death battle

(Inuyasha cont.) Attacks:
Iron Reaver soul Stealer: using his claws he uses his demonic power to enhance the sharpness and lethality of his claws to rend his opponents apart
Blades of Blood: utilizing some of his own blood he enhances it with his demonic power to hurl, quite literally, blades of blood at his opponents
Wind Scar: utilizing the power of his sword Taisaiga he can cut the very fabric of the air itself to unleash a powerful blast of energy to demolish his enemies
Backlash Wave- a powerful attack that takes the enemy attack and redirects it back at the opponent with greater intensity. this move can only be used if the opponent is of a demon nature. as it feeds off their power to fuel the attack.
Feats: defeated the demon Ryukotsei, a demon even his father couldn't defeat
-defeated his older and much more experienced full demon brother
-has defeated Naraku numerous times
-slain many powerful demons to completely restore the shikon jewel.

Weaknesses: Inuyasha is a very prideful individual, and as such his pride can often get the best of him and his arrogance will often cloud his better judgement. leading him into a much worse situation than if he had calmly approached it.
-sense of smell: while it's one of his greatest strengths, it's also one of his greatest weaknesses. due to being a dog demon his sense of smell is much greater then that of any normal person and as such strong odors from anything can cause him to feel sick if he's too close.
-Demon form: while Inuyasha gains tremendous strength in this form, his lack of rational thought can lead him into bad situations. given that he already needs to be heavily injured for this form to be active, any further mishaps could prove deadly even for himself.

this is one of my Death Battle dream matchups. Chizuru Kashiwagi from the 1996 Visual Novel Kizuato from Leaf and fighter game Aquapazza by Aquaplus/Leaf and the half demon Inuyasha from...well...Inuyasha.

Chizuru Kashiwagi: an innkeeper that runs an inn with her 3 sisters azusa, hatsune, and kaede. she is also taking care of her cousin koichi. her family suffers from the curse of the Oni and she's searching for any way possible to cleanse it.

Abilities: due to her Oni blood Chizuru, while technically human, is capable of feats far greater than any normal human being. these include

-constant passive healing allowing her to come back from even severe wounds where as any normal person would be incapacitated or even killed

- superhuman speed and agility: she's able to leap from a stand still well over 6 feet in the air and can close the distance between her opponent in less then a second even from a relatively long distance away. her attacks will often outspeed almost anyone trying to go toe-to-toe with her when trying to play the "clash war" game.

-super human strength: she can toss a full grown man at least into the air with just a single hand with a distance of at least twice her height allowing leaving them at her mercy

strong offensive and defensive capabilities: many of her attacks can be used to both attack and defend such as her blood wave attack utilizes her oni blood to throw out a wave of demonic energy a few meters in fromt of her to nullify any attacks that aren't of an extremely powerful variety. she can also use it as an offensive tool to keep her opponent on the defensive.

Blood Awakening: Chizuru turns her back to the opponent and utters the words "Anata o Koroshimas" (literally: I will kill you) upon activation her personality changes from one of merely fighting to defend herself and the people she cares about to one of absolute blood lust. the sky turns dark and the full moon appears in the sky and a blood red aura begins swirling around her. her eyes also turn red with red slits for pupils and her finger nails become sharp talon like claws. in this form her already formidable abilities become a league of their own. she now gains the ability to perform feats that not even she was capable of doing before. attacks are stronger and extended, she now has unchained comboing ability allowing her to let lose all her power and accomplish the normally impossible.

(cont.) Attacks:
-Blood Wave: a slashing wave of demonic energy is propelled forward and can nullify attacks, projectiles, and keep the opponent in a state of lockdown.
-Air Slash: using her demon blood she jumps into the air and slashes downward onto the opponent knocking them to the ground
-Slash & Dash: using her great speed and agility she dashes towards the opponent. upon passing them her opponent she slashes them dozens of times with incredible speed
-Chizuru Combination: a very powerful attack that Chizuru uses when she needs to get out of pressure or when she wants to keep it up. a defensive or offensive tool depending on the situation she uses her demonic blood to tackle the opponent driving herself and the opponent into the air where she utters the words "Kakugo Kimatte Kudasai" (Please prepare yourself) and then karate chops the opponent back down to the ground.
-Mega Blood Wave: utilizing a large amount of her demonic energy she unleashes a devestating attack much bigger and much longer ranged then her typical blood wave. anyone caught by this is knocked back several meters and takes severe damage.
-Forgive Me...: an attack only usable in her Blood Awakening. this attack is her most fearsome of all. it doesn't matter how powerful you think you are, where you are, or what attack you throw out. she WILL hit you with it. your only choice with this move is to find some way to defend it. using this move she will instantly appear behind her opponent no matter where they presently are and utter the phrase "Gomenasai..." (lit. i'm sorry, in this case, given the moves name, she's probably LITERALLY saying forgive me...). she'll then make an upwards slashing motion and in that moment snuff out out opponents life once and for all where she will utter "Sayonara. Kore ga, Watashi no shime nandesu" (Goodbye. This was my duty)

Feats.: Saved several worlds from being forced to come together hence possibly causing a catastrophic event
defeated the Yamata no Kagami, a mirror that took on the form of a much more powerful version of herself that far exceeded her own fighting abilities
defeated a rampaging demon that had given in to his cursed blood (this however is debatable as one of the routes SHE is killed by that very same demon. due to the make of the game, having multiple routes it may be hard to factor in this one)
-incredible control over her demonic powers and the willpower to not give in to its temptations

despite all her strength and agility she does have a number of weaknesses:
-a number of her attacks take a lot of energy so she does have long recovery on some of them. if you can figure out which ones to exploit in the midst of her brutal assaults you might just have a chance
- although she has a much faster healing rate in her Blood Awakening (forgot to mention that), its very hard on her and the temptation of giving into its seductive charms of power is great. thus it's very taxing on her mentally and as such she can only hold it for a certain amount of time before it wears off. this however, is usually enough any due to her opponents never seeing the end of this state anyway. death by light of the moon is a very appropriate expression for this form. still, those who DO survive can often come back as this is her most powerful state and if they can survive that, then most often they can survive anything else she can throw at them. to add insult to injury, she can only activate this state when she's in a state of desperation and her ability to control herself is at it's lowest.
-she has an ability that is both a strength and a weakness. this is called an emotion level. while she is on the aggressive side and keeping her opponent in a bad spot her attacks and reactions become much stronger, however, no good things come without a price, and as such this is where the weakness comes in. if her opponent begins to come back on her she can begin to lose her power as her emotion level begins to drop. this leaves her strength and reactions lower. while these states are temporary, they can easily turn the tide of battle either in her or her opponents favor. if her opponents smart, it's easily exploitable. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5v08tla8l1s (a video of Chizuru in action tomorrow i'll post Inuyasha:) )

Inuyasha: a half demon born in feudal japan who attempted to steal the Shikon Jewel to make himself a full demon. after being sealed for decades by the priestess Kikyo's arrow to a tree he was freed by Kagome, a girl from present day japan who was transported to his time by falling through the Bone Eaters Well. he now travels with her to reclaim the fragments of the Shikon Jewel and kill his arch-nemesis Naraku.
Abilities: due to being half demon Inuyasha has abilities that far exceed any normal human these include:
-super human speed, smell, strength, agility, and hearing
-increased healing factor, normally fatal wounds to a normal person would merely incapacitate him for a while.
-superhuman endurance- can take more then most humans would be able to tolerate without breaking down
-Demon form: a form that Inuyasha will enter when he has taken severe damage, or the Taisaiga has been broken. in this form Inuyasha can be consider "full demon". in this form his normally rational line of thought is thrown out the window and all he cares about now is now destroying his opponent. while in this form his strength and reflexes greatly increase, but his rational thought is all but gone.
