The most reliable way to know about creation is to read and understand the Bible, since it's the revelation from the Creator.

Where is the proof that it is truly the word of God? You think that none of the atheists have thought about this? "If God isn't real, why do we have the Bible?" There is absolutely no proof, no evidence. The Bible isn't well structured, the characters are perfect yet so confusing, it has the wrong text structure for its purpose, and those who do what is actually good in our eyes are considered evil in the Bible. Even the new testament has ridiculous bullshit.

People have different standards for what they count as proof. I don't know what your standard is. I doubt you're even looking for proof.

For me the main thing that convinced me that the Bible is true was the character of Christ, and his act of love in sacrificing himself for other people's sins - there's nothing fake about that.

There's no historical evidence that he went up on a cross.
