In short, some time ago there were whole pages of memes in a row getting downvotes. Someone used the term Downvote Fairy and then I used it in a meme and it caught on. I then made a meme of the unicorn dude in the tutu that said "Behold I am the downvote fairy." Then the downvote fair was all anybody talked about for the next couple of months. But.......it could one day return......
