No, but when LGBTQ+ rights activists focus on a few cases of assault against a few LGBTQ+ people in the west, I immediately point to the fact that being LBGTQ+ automatially gives you the death penalty in countries like Iran. It's like feminists focusing on the wage gap instead of the fact that women in Saudi Arabia can't even DRIVE.
