I worked 11 damn hours on the 4th.

Kudos to ya dude! I worked like 11-8, but customers were assholes as usual! You'd think they woulda been better on the fourth. If only a firework freaking exploded in front of the car every time they drive too fast in the lot! The only way they may think about their f**kin speed is when a baby gets run over!

I was a dishwasher so i didn't have to deal with customers.

I'm a grocery clerk fude. I was a dishwasher at Marcos Pizza for about two days before my current job. You are a brave soul to be a dishwasher in today's world. People have shit for brains when it comes to respect for retail employees and so do managers and people on top. Dishwashing for me was horrible. The sink sucked, the cleaning stuff sucked, and I also had to bus tables and was expected to be fast even though I was the only eighteen yr old and it was my first couple days and job. My current job sucks, but it still better than that dishwashing job. You got my respect.

Hell ya i know it sucks. So many dishwashers have quit because they make you do so much work. Plus they give you a bunch of side work to do on top of that. And for only miminum wage?

Where is this at? Hey if u r into politics a bit, there's a guy a read about named Robert Reich. Don't let the name scare you. Hes not running for president but I think he should. He wants to benefit the common worker and wants 15$ min wage

$15 min wage is a little too much. I think prices would go up if companies had to pay their workers so much. I think it would just cause inflation

Yah he's not perfect but he does have seriously good points. I'd rather corporations not be ridiculously wealthy then make it worse by blowing it on a golden toilet just cause they can. That money coulda saved somebody's life. Ridiculous.

oh yah I know but I think they can only raise them so high and we'll always have the dollar stores so... yah
