I make a witty, paradoxical, ironic comment (and a stupid one at that), it gets down voted.

How petty, insecure, immature, and superficial are you to be threatened by ME??? It's not the points thing that matters so much, it's the fact that imgflip could be a really cool community if not for those who INSIST on acting like a clique of obnoxious, mean girls!!!

I apologize for ranting to anyone NOT involved in the systematic down voting of people (regardless of content or quality) but if you ARE involved, you are a bully and whatever feelings of superiority you are getting from this unjustified.

I just came here to clarify one thing, 'Quality of comments matter more than quantity of comments' (you must be thinking, HEY look at this guy he's claiming that he makes more 'Quality comments' than us. Well, then your perspective is wrong. Totally wrong. I never claim myself as superior or any crap like that, and I've seen many people here who make hilarious comments what if they don't get many upvotes? What if they are not in the limelight? Well that doesn't matters until you're dying for points. I never cared after commenting that how many points I'll get. The fact is humor, sometimes often remarked as 'funny stupidity' or 'bitter sarcasm'. People will only upvote you if they find your posted stuff 'funny' or sometimes just relatable to the original content. Believe or not it's the people who like your stuff, and a f**king username has nothing to do with it, at least I think so after making thousands of meme comments. Hope you understood the things I wanted to point. So don't cry now.

Ok, well this took a left hand turn into Sh*tville I never saw coming. I submitted this MEME because I think that both the quantity AND quality of Game_Kings comments are impressive, they are usually very funny and spot on so I thought I would call that out in a friendly way. I was not trying to provoke a pissing match here about comments( isn’t that done enough on who gets the front page?) Game_King, I pose this to you, I will delete this submission if you feel odd about it, or do not want to be party to imgflip drama, just say the word.

I think somethings get lost in translation ie sarcasm. If I think my comment is being downvoted a lot, because someone took it literally and got offended, I will usually follow up with a comment to explain that I was being sarcastic or just messing around. This is an international site, so some of the misunderstandings are likely cultural. Or the downvoted meme is just a steaming pile of crap.
