I don't see the big issue about country music. If you don't like it, there's no reason to go out and make constant jokes about it. Same with Nickelback. I can't say I enjoy the music, but I don't go out and hate it. It's not like it's absolute trash, like rap music. Rap music actually has a negative effect on youth (Baltimore? Everyone thought they were gangsters and they destroyed their own city?) while there's really not a big deal with country music. Some people enjoy it, some people don't. But this meme was just plain rude.
