Actually Americans call European football, 'soccer' and call theirs 'football'. The weird thing is that in football (rugby) they hold a non-round object (definitely not a ball), with their hands. So there's no point on calling it football x3
Yes, but that's not what this was about. It was about the words meaning the same thing, neither is wrong. And i was trying to show how tony though that there was only one way of saying it.
