I don't want to come across as offensive but why do you worship someone who's made so many bad people? He made hitler, bin laden, Stalin etc. i wouldn't worship someone like that. And also why do you believe in it without any proof? Why do you just take a book' sword for it.

By that logic, he made all the good people in the world as well. I think you're forgetting that.

Yeah sure he's made good people but he has caused the death of millions of innocent people. In my opinion, all of those deaths outweigh all of the good people.

According ot the Bible, if you believe in him and follow him, it will cause you to want to do good. Not WANT to but... you know. You become a better person because the Holy Spirit is inside of you. You know.
Anyway, if you believe in him, he saves you from Hell. You don't go and burn in eternal torment, instead you get to go to heaven. So he has SAVED millions, if not billions, of people. By choosing to refuse God, those other people essentially caused their own destruction.

He's saved those billions of people but also burned billions for eternity. Some of those just because they was different, think about it. He's burned millions of gays just because of their sexuality.

Those people, as I said already, went to Hell because they didn't choose him... It's their fault they did not accept God... Anyone who believes in and follows God will go to Heaven, so it's not God who's condemning them, but themselves, if you see my point here...

Gays don't choose to be gay, it's a gene and not a choice. It's no more of a choice than the colour of your skin.

Making religion illegal is restricting freedoms and violating basic human rights. In short, who cares whatever the person next to you believes, so long as they don't try to shove it down your throat.

But what about the human rights that religions are violating? The right to be treated equally sure is being broken. In the bible it says gays should be put to death, that's restricting freedoms.

I personally think that most religions should be illegal, the discrimination in a lot of them is too high. Seriously it's 2015, why do we still have books promoting sexism and homophobia.

Well, basically the idea is this:
You believe in God, you receive the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit, which is like God inside you, influences you--no, uh, let me say that differently.
If you accept God, it changes you. You become a better person. Therefore, anyone who goes to Heaven isn't like Hitler--at least not after they accepted the Holy Spirit.
Here's an example: A guy is sentenced to life in prison for murder. While in prison, he decides to accept God into his life. He changes for the better. When he dies, he goes to Heaven.
But if someone in the same situation except it's not life in prison says they accepted God, then gets released and goes off and kills someone else, then that means they didn't truly accept God, so they don't go to Heaven.

Hitler claimed he was Christian. It was for mostly political advantages. Maybe he was a Christian, but his actions don't show that. Maybe he thought he was doing a good thing. But no, he wasn't. The bible says to love everyone. If he was (or thought he was) a Christian, then he obviously forgot that. I honestly don't think he was a Christian, but maybe I'm wrong.

Hitler was a Christian. He wasn't even a bad person. He thought Jews are inferior because he was kinda mentally challenged. Proof: his first girlfriend (or crush) was Jewish.
The true evil people were his followers. Some of his followers (who were normal people and not racist-minded) viewed it as a normal job. But most who supported this madness and kept supporting after seeing it witb their own eyes were true sickos (if that's a word).

That's coming from a person who has done a lot of research.

I'm not the kind of person who would be one of those people saying "Kick out all these heathens!" or anything. And anyway, you say Islam is supposed to be a peaceful religion, and while I'm sure some other religious groups have done some horrible things, I sure don't see hat on the news.

Not all Muslims are terrorists, but you gotta admit, you don't tend to see Hindus or Baptists murdering for their religion, so it makes you wonder exactly what Allah is saying to these people...

Islam is supposed to be a peaceful religion just like Christianity (was). It's not like Allah wants them to kill people.

Here, in Greece, a political party wants to kick out all people who do not live in Orthodox countries. And they are all Christians.

Sort of both. Believing in a different god is the same as rejecting the real God. What they thought was the real God wanted them to kill people, which is a sin that they did not get forgiven for because the god they prayed to wasn't real.

I know they went to Hell. They went to Hell because they didn't believe in the real God. Instead, they thought their god wanted them to kill, and so they did; if they believed in the Christian God, they wouldn't have killed innocent people, and they would have gone to Heaven. And who knows what exists after death. Millions of people believe in God. Billions of people believe in something. And who knows? Maybe we're all wrong. But I guess we'll all learn what it really is eventually.

Maybe science will try and prove it wrong. Maybe they will come up with some detailed explanation that seems to take everything into account. But I still believe that there's some being out there in the universe who cares for us.

Yes, but still god did nothing to stop any of them at any point. If he's all knowing all powerful then he surely would of stopped hitler at some point before 6 million Jews. He probably would of also stopped the planes flying into the building and like diverting it into a field or something. I know nothing about Stalin but i know he was evil.

He doesn't have to stop all evil, just the worst. I find it a bit selfish that he has all this power but he's just letting people die.

I'm trying to make it clear that i don't hate religion I'm just saying that if god was proven to exist then i wouldn't worship someone that selfish.

Think about this: if there were no bad things in the world, how would we know what is good? I think we have to have some bad things in life happen so we can know the good things. I know that sounds stupid comparing it to someone like Hitler, but you get my point. And also, it's a bit like the common thing like an atheist saying "Oh hey "God" if you're there, strike me with lightning!" He works in mysterious ways; he isn't made to cater directly to us.

I know that some religions are prejudiced--sometimes more seriously than others--against certain groups, but not only are people discriminated against based on their religion, saying we should abolish religion because they discriminate is saying we should stop all prejudice, which would be nice, but honestly prejudice will never completely go away.
