You underestimate their power. These squirrels are a foot long each, can bench press 200 pounds, and have been recorded at speeds 2.5 times that of a cheetah. They can chew through bone, and sense their prey via heat, much like snakes. Their greatest asset, though, is their remarkable ability to shapeshift. They can transform themselves from their true, hideous forms into bodies that appear small and cute and fluffy, and are barely distinguishable from a regular squirrel. This, plus the pheromones they excrete, can subconsciously cause attarction, and as soon as the prey gets close, they attack. Only a true master in the art of rodent-fu can tell the difference between the two. However, even a true master would find it challenging to take on one of these, much less the 492 that reside in the tree by our meeting place. Only one person in history is known to heave defeated 100 at a time: Chuck Norris.
