My first computer was an (original) IBM XT - and then I got the IBM PCjr, WITH the memory expansion card on the side. I only waited on the XT originally because I knew the second computer IBM released would be slightly better than the first one.
I'm going to pause here, let you Google when that was released, and then let you do the math, and try to figure out how old I must be. LMFAO
Put it this way: I was phone phreaking back in the day, probably before you were born. I could tell if if it was a good modem connection *just* by how the sound of the modem was. ;)
