its hard to explain but i belive that adam and eve and the world ere created right, then i believe that the other humans and animals evolved.... plus i think humans being created in his own image is more of metaphore, so even though im catholic i still believe in some(alot) of science

I don't think Christianity and science are a contradiction. Science can explain how but never why. So you believe in evolution but not on a Big Bang scale, which is cool. A metaphor alludes to something, so what would man being created in the image of God be a metaphor of? (I believe the Bible, and I'm just interested in your beliefs and ideas. I'm not trying to start an argument or change your mind about anything.)

its hard to explain but i kind of think god made the cells that became animals that evolved into the humans in his image as for the metaphore that is for other biblical stories lol

So basically God created life in its most basic, single-cellular form, then evolution did the rest, with a bit of help/guidance?
