Aliens didn't poop you out of their mother ship and plant you here and no deities sculpted you from magic dirt. And most human societies are patriarchal. Our species has had varying social structures over the centuries, but the current, most numerous societal structures are patriarchal. There are a handful of small south american and african tribes that are matriarchal. Our patriarchal societies, however, are not intelligently designed at all.
