The police like to overdo it. Where i live there was a huge raid on a small apartment house by the SWAT team, state cops and local cops for just $1000 of heroin, minor pot possession, and 3 people who were found hiding in the apartment after a flash bang was sent in through the door. All that hubbub for a whole lot of nothing. So what happened in the meme is totally not surprising lol.
