Actions (takes a move):
- Claim one unoccupied 5x5 square
- Invade neighboring empires (The player with the stronger army will have better chances. Also fully conquering an empire will increase your power by the opponent’s last army power)
- Train your army (success is random, but the more squares you have, the higher the training is)
- Develop technology (success & type of technology is random)
- Volunteer as an assistant for an already existing empire (only possible if you don’t have an empire of your own)
Extras (doesn‘t take a move):
- Change your color
- Change your name
- Form alliances (allies get a boost while attacking, a bigger boost while defending, and can‘t attack each other)
- Accept alliances
- Upgrade alliances to unions (Requires a union token, the two countries become one way stronger country controlled by both players)
- Use technology
- Trade technology, squares, or army power (requires a trade token from one of the two traders unless you‘re allies)
Technologies (you can’t use a technology in the same round you got it in):
- Puppet state (forces an alliance)
- Union token (used to form unions)
- Trade token (used to trade technology)
- Tank (temporary attack boost)
- Wall (makes you immune to attacks for some time)
- Electric network (lets you move three times next round)
- Economy boost (doubles training speed for a while)
