Rep. Ilhan Omar’s (D-MN) former husband and suspected biological brother withdrew a marriage-based immigration petition after federal officials requested additional evidence about the marriage’s legitimacy, according to newly revealed records.
The records were revealed alongside an account highlighted by conservative journalist Benjamin Weingarten.
The material concerns Ahmed Nur Said Elmi, the British national Omar married in 2009.
