By BF I assume you mean best friend right? It also could be boyfriend. Hmm ya know what i'll give advice that applies for both. SO most importantly spend time with them and make them feel special so take them somewhere where they like to go like their favorite place and do something. If they like to run a lot take them to the park and a have a picnic, if they like food take them to an all you can eat buffet. (Make sure your find a reliable option because some do scam you with food options w deserts and breads so eat lots of meats and foods with low carbs) If they likes games, have a game day at either of your places. If they like to cook bake food with them. Ya get the idea.

Last year, I sended with a copy of a Pokemon Green Leaf that i found at a local second hand shop!
But yeah being in a long distant relationship is kinda hard :p
(He lives in Missour, I live in Illinois. And before you say if I know the person? Yes I met him before, he used to live around I live, though even they moved, I still see him meanwhile he visits family :D)
