See heres the thing I don’t actually hate death battle of powerscaling or even those stupid YouTube rap battles or anything like that, it’s just annoying when people’s entire media intake is watching marvel and chainsaw man, playing Sonic and larping batman. I was kinda like this back when I was 14 too and I thankfully grew out of it. Ofc I still love dumb nerd shit, Zelda and Final Fantasy forever have a special place in my heart, but you gotta like consume it in moderation bc like there’s so much more fiction out there to enjoy, and if you only decide to home in on the dumb nerd shit you’re basically just a picky eater but with fiction, like you’re not actually developing critical thinking and ability to identify themes when you only looking at animations of spider man duking it out with Gojo. Like it’s awesome and all but once you start looking at REAL art you’ll realize what you’ve been missing out on while still retaining your love for spider man sulking it out with Gojo
