While it is true that Ishmael fathered the Arabic nations... Islam (a religious belief system) is an invention of the crazy followers of mohammed... which didn't happen until the 7th century. Ishmael, Abraham, and Isaac were long in their graves when Islam was invented. And that is why I say Ishmael never heard of Islam because it hadn't been invented yet.

Ismael was marked .. God promised to bless Ishmael, make him fruitful, and establish him as the father of a great nation, even though the covenant would continue through Isaac. ISLAM was created with a false covenant ... “Behold, you are with child and shall bear a son. You shall name him Ishmael, for the LORD has heard your affliction. He will be a ..wild donkey of a man; his hand will be against everyone<<, and everyone’s hand against him<<<<, and he will live in hostility toward all his brothers” <<<< Sounds like ISLAM to me..

What does it mean?

Islam is a false religion that teaches submission to the will of Allah. The name "Allah" didn't even appear until the 5th Century - and some arabic cultures were using that name for God (many of them were polytheists) . But in the 7th century, Muhammed and his crazy followers... claimed that the Angel Gabriel appeared to muhammed in a cave. Pretty sure it wasn't Gabriel he was talking to, but some demon pretendiing to be Gabriel. But what came out of this was a religion that denies the deity of Jesus Christ. And this is what Paul says about it in 1st Timothy.

"Now the Spirit explicitly says that in later times some will fall away from the faith, paying attention to deceitful spirits and doctrines of demons" — 1 Timothy 4:1

Islam is a religion based on the doctrines of demons. But it didn't exist yet in Ishmael's day.

Summation a death cult possible home of the anti christ

Definitely a death cult. Islam began with Muhammed and his crazy followers committing mass murder/genocide of anyone who didn't adhere or submit to their Islamic doctrine. Anyone calling Islam a religion of peace, is fooling themselves.

ALSO... Anyone who denies the deity of Jesus, agrees with the spirit of antichrist.

"Little children, it is the last time: and as you have heard that antichrist shall come, even now are there many antichrists; whereby we know that it is the last time." — 1 John 2:18

It hasn't been revealed yet... who the antichrist is. But when he appears, he will demand to be worshipped as god.
