In the case of the big Kirk,

His death was objectively terrible yes, and it shouldn't be downplayed.

However I am okay with specifically his legacy being ruined, because he genuinely did have the worst takes i have ever heard (for example forcing his 10 year old to have a baby if she was raped) and was also just genuinely racist.

The issue comes into play here because hardly anyone does kirkification memes to further ruin his legacy, but... just to downplay his death...

Reason why he said that is because we believe (More like know) that humans have souls, and that fetuses, no matter what stage they are in, have a soul and a life, and that murder is wrong and evil

It was f**ked up that he got shot infront of his family and the death of a human is “usually” a tragedy, however he was an asshole and it’s not that surprising that he eventually got shot for well publicly being an asshole. Tbh atp i’m just tired of people dragging his death on, kicking about it, and idolizing him…. it gets old
