In my opinion it’s probably that sans is so powerful that he overrides frisks or whoever fell downs options kinda like how normal sans tried to attack you in the battle menu

Flaker is actually onto something there, basically Sans has scratched out your options and relabeled them to something... more fitting.

They still work, but they don't really do anything to help you. You're still gonna die in the end.

For example, you CAN fight and heal, but you'll deal like 2 damage or get one shot by any attack respectively.
