Why does Nintendo keep milking Super Mario while killing some others?

It's sad to have them milk and kill at the same time when smash bros actually HAS mother and f-zero characters in it

That's because Ness and Captain Falcon are part of the original 12, and smash ultimate was literally, "everybody is here"

It's really sad. Nintendo heavily relies on the Mario franchise, which makes fans feel like Nintendo is literally killing other franchises as well, except Zelda and Kirby.

I still love Mario though (and also Kirby); I’ve loved Mario since I was a kid (and funnily enough, New Super Mario Bros Wii was one of the first games I ever played, as it came out in 2009 and I was born in 2009; Mario Kart Wii also counts for that)

I don't think Nintendo is killing both Splatoon and Fire Emblem either

I agree on Splatoon, but not Fire Emblem.

Either way, Nintendo mostly cares about Mario just because it's their mascot

This is why the first thing I think about when I hear Nintendo is Mario.

No new 3D Mario game since Odyssey (or Bowser's Fury), so wtf
