cosmo: I agree with timy here. We don't know what these even do. You don't want to mess up and then be unable to take care of strawmi, do you?
Leri: bit morbid but fair enough.
Strawmi: hey guys! I found a battery!
Cosmo: ah yes, the conveniently placed flashlight battery in an abandoned building. For when the writer doesn't understand the concept of how you would normally find a battery in a place like this. (Joke forth wall break)
Strawmi: uhh.... Alright then... Let's get it in the flashlight then.
Leri: I got it, I got it! (They proceed to attempt to remove the dead battery from the flashlight, first with their hand, then with their sword. However, it was too large to get it out.) Damnit!
Strawmi: I could tr-
Leri: nope, nope, nope! Totally got this! (Visibly stressed now)
Cosmo: let strawmi do it already, leri. It's not going to kill them.
(Leri continues to struggle with the battery for a bit longer, before giving up and handing it to strawmi.)
Leri: please... Just be careful...
Strawmi: it's alright, I'll be fine.
(Strawmi moves their tail towards the battery, before, in a slightly terrifying display, the tail splits down the middle and opens, revealing a large red spike in the middle, like a weird flower. In opening it, a small, but knowledgeable Amount of light-pink gel flows out of the now open tail, before strawmi uses the spike to easily remove the battery, then uses the spike to re-absorb the gel that fell on the floor, before the tail finally closes back up. Leri looks shaky and strawmi looks a little ill, but also proud as they insert the new battery.)
There's a brief silence before Cosmo says: you know, looking at them again, I think it would have been easier for timy to remove it.
Leri: NOW YOU TELL ME!?
cosmo: whoa! I only realised it there!
(Leri looks incredibly angry now)
