ok so here's where my argument starts:
toph (or other metal benders) can bend metal
Yoyle Metal is a highly durable metal produced as a side effect of consuming Yoyleberries, Yoylecake, Yoylestew or by using a Yoyle Token. When a person eats any food containing Yoyleberry ingredients, their bodily composition is automatically converted into Yoyle Metal. (removed my consuming yellow tomatoes)
the narration says when toph was trying to bend metal said that metal is still earth, just purified and refined
BUT, yoyle metal isn't from earth, you need to consume Yoyleberries or included Yoyleberry foods
so, if we follow the same rules, toph can't bend yoyle metal, but if we just follow that metal bending bends ALL metal, toph and other metal benders can in-fact bend yoyle metal
