Iran and Oman are making a deal at the strait to make shipping fees with about 5-7% interest, driving up oil prices and trade in U.S. while simultaneously funding war against the U.S. since the 60 day ceasefire just ended, it doesnt only effect the US because since it is the most critical energy chokepoint on Earth, and if this deal passe it would cause a severe worldwide ripple effect. so it makes sense that they wouldn't want that to happen. was what he said extreme, yes it is, but is it understandable, also yes.
