I think one of the most important things to understand in art is that your preference is the only one that matters for you

I've had phone Doodles that I didn't care about get more popular than the things I actually cared about. I've had art. I loved criticized both online and offline, and have gotten made fun of my art as far back as when I was eight. I've gotten bullied for other things, and taught me one of the most important things I know. your opinion is what matters when it comes to things that are personal. Nobody, and i mean NOBODY, should dictate things like your hobbies and fashion (...to an extent dont break a law consent is good)
be yourself you will find people that actually like it and don't comment about how large i do eyes 🥹✌️

obviously commissions and money and fame and blah blah blah but hobbies really come down to what you want. if you want to draw something that most people would consider bad, and it doesn't look good, but you like it, then it's a good piece of art
