Yeah, the first game reveals quite a bit about how the town works. I think the second delves more into how it taps into trauma with James Sunderland, and two others. Well, half of one. The first game's monsters were Alissa's trauma.

Tho the trauma thing usually adds to the whole different perspectives thing.
