Yeah one of the theories was that people opposing the Federal Reserve were on the ship. Except the problem with the theory is that the FR got delayed because one of the prominent supporters of that (Isidor Straus) whom idiots claimed to be against died on that ship. That's one of the holes in that theory.

You can say that again, had an encounter with a special case in politics server not long ago. There were tons of goalpost moving from that aspie that I gave up on him the moment he starts invoking the same old arguments that had been debunked decades ago.

Not to mention the cost to fake the landing would have been higher than if they do it for real. Hence the joke that the director had the set move to the moon to make it realistic.
