absolute universe (created by DC) is basically a alt universe of a series where things go into its own extreme route.like characters are similar to the original but change in design, personality or lore.the story is different and unique,and Thier's room for interesting ideas can come out to expand upon. so basically it takes the original universe and shifts into maximum overdrive.
