Unfortunately, yes.
However when Inkmatas is in her Supreme Calamitous Witch form, she is pulling power from the Essence of Calamity, and this power can allow her to (very limitedly) look into the future/opponents thoughts to counter them.
To attempt to help you understand what I mean by overheating, I’m gonna do my best to explain it.
Inkmatas draws calamitous power when she uses her magic, of course, the amount of calamitous power she pulls is dependent on how heated her magic is. The overheat is caused by the amount of Calamitous power she pulls as well as how much energy she is using. Her base form (1/5) Inkstone Flames overheats her when she uses it for nearly one year every day in a row… but she never does that so she virtually cannot be overheated with her base magic, when she reaches her Cinders of Calamity form (form 2/5), she has to draw more calamitous power which means she has to use more energy, this cuts her usage time from every day in a year to several months. Her Calamitous Witch form (3/5) requires her to draw MUCH more calamitous power and expends much more experience, think of it like she’s running a marathon, since this requires more from her, her overheat time is cut from several months to a month. Her Century Long Calamity Form (4/5) is her second strongest form, she has to pull so much calamitous energy, it can destroy whole Kilo-megastructures and dwarf universes from the energy absorption alone, she doesn’t feel the energy usage from the adrenaline needed for the form but this insane requirements from her body takes the form down from a month to about 3 weeks. Lastly her Supreme Calamitous Witch form (5/5), her strongest form, she draws so much calamitous power that she is using the essence of Calamity to get a stable supply of power, her energy expenditure is enough to light 2 Inkverses in a row [a f**k ton] and this already makes her capable of using this form for a day.
