Lore dump 2 - skyler and Madeline/ivory; Skyler, a diligent engineer, working to try to make something that cannot only glide, but can fly itself without prior elevation (like jumping from a high place). She hasn’t been particularly successful, as her first prototype was a complete failure. She doesn’t fully trust the higher order, but if they ask her to do something, she would. And they did. The fourth prophecy called upon her engineering to make the electro bracelets, which give a shock of voltage that anything coming into contact with its surface. Along with the other great weapons, the electro bracelets were used in that great battle. Skyler; Madaline was a hard working and talented alchemist, and worked to try to find remedies for illnesses and toxins, and hated when her works were used for nefarious purposes. When she heard about the hexmage plague, she began researching into it, and trying to find a cure. She thought she found a cure, and it worked, but the plague adapted and got stronger. It was a battle to keep it at bay, not much worked long term, but she was still able to help one infected individual get a permanent cure. Since she’d been working with it for so long, she’d become infected, and eventually died from it. The higher order honoured her dedication and sacrifice by assigning her to the skyline guard.
