so today my dad went and got me a phone and my mom kinda mad since she thinks I'm irresponsible (I did not wash the dishes on time when she asked, and I apparently lost one of her house keys (she has a copy of the key, and it's somewhere in the house bc how tf else would I get in, also she thinks I will "lose" my innocence woth social media or whatever, (I already did since I was 13) also she thinks I will search UP random things and suddenly type the wrong thing, she used the word bomb as an example, with no f**king context whatsoever, she could be referring to literally anything, she said also she needs to put parental controlls or whatever on it (my dad is already doing this) and the problems that come up with getting a new phone like if I were to refuse to give it (even if she did want to check it I put a passcode only I know,) I think she is overreacting, I'm older and more aware of shit now, my mom is actin ill put myself in jail if I said 1 wrong thing out of context or whatever, my dad obviously trusts me and he set terms like how I shouldn't be searching up crazy stuff, but anyway my mom still wants me to get a phone, and she might let me keep the one my dad got me, but keep in mind I might be the LAST kid to get a permanent phone, so because of that I didn't have any real friends outside of school, ever since I got a bike, I have made some connections and stuff, and I'm planning to take that to the next level with the phone, she doesn't need to worry, I will be a wise person
