The way people can check for it in their home is by bending their back and seeing if there’s any asymmetry, like in this picture

That’s what I’m trying to say, how did NO ONE ik irl noticed the asymmetry in my back when I’m bending my back till I went to the doctor

They’re either uneducated (no offense) on orthopedics or didn’t care enough to mention it or check for abnormalities
Also depends on the shirt you’re wearing. It should be visible on a tight or thin shirt. Wearing multiple layers of clothing or thick shirts can hide it
