FIRST REBEL:

TAILS THE FOX

Tails is the defensive support of the game, he provides options to his team to prevent and heal damage, as well as the ability to swoop in to save his teammates. With Sonic no longer there to be the savior, he takes up the role left behind of the one who helps the fallen get back on their feet.

Monitor Toss

Tails pulls out a small device that takes a few seconds to open itself up and automatically constructs itself into either a ring or shield monitor (you choose which type) over the course of 3 seconds. Tails can then charge up a throw to toss it in a certain direction at an arch, with said the throw direction being projected by a line in the direction you are facing. After being thrown, the monitor stays where it is until broken by a survivor or killer.

If Tails is hit during the start-up or while he is holding it the monitor explodes, dealing 10 extra rings worth of damage to him. If the monitor is broken, it heals the survivor by 20 rings or grants a 20 second shield that negates the next hit depending on the type. 25 second cooldown.

Spindash

Tails halts all movement and curls into a ball, spinning in place for 3 seconds before bolting off at high speeds in the ball form for 6.5 seconds. If he jumps, the ability cancels early but momentum is not lost. If he hits a killer, the killer is bounced up and out of the way but not stunned and takes 5 rings worth of damage. If he gets hit during charge-up the ability is cancelled. 30 second cooldown.

Flight

After jumping, if you hit jump again, you will start gliding into the air, going upwards perpetually for as long as you hold the jump button and begin to move down when you stop. You automatically stop and begin to fall again after 7 seconds of this or if you are hit. Other survivors can grab onto you if you are close enough and can be carried for the flight's duration. You have hit priority over your carried survivors. 30 second cooldown.

SECOND REBEL:

KNUCKLES THE ECHIDNA

Knuckles is the brawler of the game, he is built to go head-to-head with killer, doing everything he can to make killing him as hard as possible. Despite everything, Knuckles still matches Sonic's speed with his raw power, no matter if it's even really Sonic anymore.

M1

Knuckles is one of two survivors to have an M1, and his is the only one intended to be used like a traditional M1. Similar to killer M1s, it causes him to lunge forward slightly and swing, and kills any current momentum with 2 extra seconds of endlag if moving quickly. The punch stuns for 3 seconds, and deals 20 damage worth of rings. It has a 13 second cooldown. 9 seconds in Last Mobian Standing.

Crushing Blow

Knuckles halts all momentum, cocks his left hand back behind his head and stretches his right hand out aiming in the direction he faces in an animation that takes about 2 seconds total, and then swings out far with his left hand in a large sweeping hook that deals extreme knock back upon colliding with the killer. The blow deals 45 rings worth of damage and stuns for 9 seconds. 40 second cooldown. 28 if in Last Mobian Standing. The impact plays a large crashing sound and has a special impact frame on hit.

Weave N' Punish

Knuckles slows, losing momentum very quickly while entering a defensive stance for 3 seconds upon use. If he is hit with an M1 during this period, he ducks under it and uppercuts the killer, stunning them for 4.5 seconds and dealing 20 rings worth of damage. If hit by an ability, he either enters a clash QTE event with the killer or takes 25% of the damage he would have normally. 20 second cooldown. 16 seconds in Last Mobian Standing.

Wallclimb and Glide

If you double jump, Knuckles enters a glide where he glides forward at a slightly downwards angle. If he runs into a wall, he clings to it. Knuckles can climb normal walls at a slow-ish speed while clinged and jump off to glide again, if he reaches the top of the wall, he will jump up and forward onto the surface above. He cannot cling again after the first one and the glide ends automatically after 5 seconds of flying or if hit. 12 second cooldown.

THIRD REBEL:

DR. IVO ROBOTNIK

Dr. Eggman is the offensive support of the game, and provides additional obstacles to aid his team and ruin chases with his strategy and defenses. Eggman has always been there to oppose Sonic, doing everything in his power to triumph over his natural talent with his manufactured marvels of technology, the only difference now being that he shares that goal with foes, if only for a time. The Eggman Empire will always push forward to victory.

My Masterpieces

Eggman has his Badniks at his disposal during the match, there are 2 types of Badniks Eggman can use: Motobugs and Buzz Bombers. Motobugs charge at the killer at a swift speed and explode upon contact, stunning the killer for 4 seconds and dealing 15 rings worth damage. Buzz Bombers fly up in the air and shoot explosive projectiles that stun for 2.5 seconds and dealing 10 rings worth damage. Badniks target killers when deployed or automatically in the order they were aquired if Eggman is in danger. They have 10 rings worth of HP. When Badniks die, they create piles of scrap Eggman can reconstruct. Eggman spawns in with 2 Motobugs and 1 Buzz Bomber. Eggman and Metal Sonic can see pulsating lights come from every Badnik as well as eachother every 13 seconds.

Return To Glory

Around the map are a number of destroyed badniks, but with Eggman's resourcefulness and technology, they can be repaired. Eggman will activate a special technology inside his glasses that allows him to rapidly reorganize the badnik and pushes everything into place before sealing it all back together over the course of 8 seconds, 4.5 in Last Man Standing, putting the Badnik back online and adding one to his arsenal. Cancels if hit during the rebuilding. Can alternatively be used on Metal Sonic to summon 25 rings to heal him. 12 second cooldown.

Fool's Bane

Eggman pulls out a small star-shaped Badnik that transforms and burrows into the ground, leaving only it's small shining red eye visible, becoming a mine. If the killer enters a small radius around the mine, it explodes, stunning the killer for 4 seconds and dealing 20 rings worth of damage. 18 second cooldown.

Destroy For Master

Eggman deploys a Badnik, letting it sit in that spot waiting for Eggman to either recall it to his side by reusing the ability or to spot the killer and attack as usual. Eggman receives a notification noise when a Badnik enters combat and is destroyed, and they pulsate a different color during combat. 8 second cooldown.

FOURTH REBEL:

METAL SONIC

Metal Sonic is the sacrificial tank of the team, actively doing absolutely everything he can to take the killer off of the team, even if it means he puts himself in danger. Metal Sonic's deep, seething hatred for his biological base goes far beyond anything that could programmed into a machine, and he shall show it. Metal Sonic will take the place of his copy. He will be the hero Sonic failed to be. He will prove that he is the better, superior Sonic. By ANY means necessary.

M1

Metal Sonic is the other survivor to have an M1, with it being more powerful but at a higher risk. Metal Sonic's M1 is different from Knuckles' and most killers'. Metal Sonic will burst forward in the direction he is facing and perform a dropkick a fair distance in that direction before falling onto the ground, unable to move for 1.5 seconds. If he hits the killer, he knocks them back along with him, stuns them for 5 seconds, and deals 35 rings worth of damage. 20 second cooldown. 15 seconds in Last Machine Standing.

MY_SUPERIOR_DESIGN

A passive ability of Metal Sonic's is that any and all damage he takes is halved due to his tough metal body, and that he can walk through map hazards either entirely unaffected or only taking minor chip damage depending on the hazard.

MAXIMUM_OVERDRIVE.exe

Metal Sonic halts any vertical momentum and charges up in place for 3 seconds, flashing bright colors before flying off while shining with a yellow aura for 8 seconds. During this time, Metal Sonic can fly in any direction and if he touches the killer, he grabs them, holding them by their throats and carrying them for the duration of the move before tossing them down into the ground at the end of it, stunning them for 2 seconds and bouncing himself backwards into the air slightly. The start-up can be skipped if running at full speed. He can use his M1 during this move to end it early and extend the stun to 8 seconds at the cost of 2.5 extra seconds of endlag. 30 second cooldown.

ELECTRIC_OVERLOAD.exe

Metal Sonic lets out a burst of purple electricity from his body, greatly slowing him but stunning the killer if they are in the field around Metal Sonic for 7 seconds. Metal Sonic has 2 seconds of endlag afterwards, and the killer is stunned for an additional 4 seconds after the ability ends. 35 second cooldown.

FIFTH REBEL:

AMY "ROSE" THE HEDGEHOG

Amy is a jack of all trades, with a mix of supportive buffs to herself and others, varying ways to use her abilities for different purposes, and an overall blend of offense, defense, and support. Amy was always the kind one, the one who gave everyone a chance and saw a good side to the worst people... but now, faced with a broken reflection of her hero with nothing to redeem, her only option is to do everything she can to hold up herself and her friends.

A Glimpse Of Fate

Amy has 3 Tarot cards from her deck allowing herself and others insight on the events about to unfold, with each one applying certain small buffs to herself. Amy can give Tarot cards to nearby survivors to give them the same buffs at the cost of removing the buff from herself. Any other survivor can have a max of 2 cards.

Card Types (idk about Tarot cards so it's just 7 stages of grief, sorry):

Shock - 15% faster max runspeed
Denial - 10% extra damage, 25% faster runspeed
Anger - 10% longer stun time
Depression - 10% slower max runspeed, 25% damage resistance
Guilt - 20% extra damage, 10% faster max runspeed and longer stun time
Bargaining - +20% and -20% to a random 2 stats
Acceptance - +20 rings

Deck Shuffle

Amy rerolls all her cards, the effects of any cards held by other survivors fade and disappear over the course of 15 seconds. 22 second cooldown.

Hammer Bounce

Amy pulls out a large-but-weak squeaky hammer and slams it down on the ground, sending out a small shockwave and catapulting herself far upwards. If the killer is hit by the hammer or shockwave, they are not stunned by sent flying back a decent distance and take 5 rings of damage if hit directly by the hammer. 18 second cooldown.

Wild Rush

Amy bursts forward at high speeds with low traction, wildly swinging her hammer for 6 seconds, knocking back the killer slightly if she runs into them and hitting them with a final large swing, stunning for 4 seconds if she hits them 5 times subsequently. 25 second cooldown.

Okay so originally I was gonna give Mighty and Ray movesets because I figured they'd fit in the game with the classic nature of it buttt

I don't really have anything to do with them

Like

They're cool but there's no role I can really think of for them that I think a current survivor wouldn't do better

I also just wanted the (concept of a) game to feel kind of small and compact, with there only being five survivors in a match, with the main classic characters and no niche or modern characters.

So uh
Consider them scrapped

Scrapped in a game that's never actually coming out

Probably

Unless it actually gets popular for some reason?
