"R6 and 2D clothing are here to stay"

If they are removing it its gonna create some f**king problems

They aren't removing 2D clothing, but they're increasing the price to upload and sell 2D clothing. They were originally planning to increase the price to upload 2D clothing up to 200 Robux and increase the price to sell 2D clothing up to 600 Robux.

Roblox got so much backlash from this that they are instead making the price to upload 2D clothing 80 Robux instead of 200 Robux (idk about selling them tho). They are also lowering the amount of Robux you get from a 2d clothing sale from 70% to 30% (So if you were to sell a 2D shirt for 10 Robux, you would only get 3 Robux when someone buys it).

My theory is that Roblox's plan is to make 2D clothing so unprofitable that we just stop making them. So they can remove it in the future and point fingers at us while saying "You weren't making 2D clothing so we removed it."

We’re still USING 2D clothing tho, they can’t remove the 2d clothing if there are still players using them, and besides. it would cause problems for r6 since 3D clothing can’t be used on r6 avatars unlike classic faces because the animated heads are still compatible with r6

I suspect they'll give us a week or so to remove the 2d clothes before they remove it themselves IF they decide to just delete it all.

Oh boy roblox will have some explaining to do for the avatars with a actual skin tone that get their classic clothing removed if that’s the case

One idea I just had is that they convert your cothes into robux.

Yall forgot about the 1,000 dollars it costs to re assess a basically unpaid game

They could essentially refund the robux that you used to buy it and for creators, they refund the robux it cost to put it on the marketplace.
