Blair witch project was boring

The witch is in each audience member's imagination; that's what made it mysterious, different, and more of a psychological horror movie.

There's a place for movies where they show the monster. This one makes each individual imagine what she looks like. That is scary for people who have a big and or weird imagination from watching those other horror movies or reading horror books and comics.

For books it’s understandable but for movies you do realize the philosophy “show don’t tell” exists I understand the point of imagination but like lad they planned to record the witch who was standing on a hill for a film but they forgot to record the actor

"Show, don't tell" involves not just the visual. There's a lot of eerie auditory stuff in it. Plus, there IS visual moments like the bright light in the woods, the actors themselves, and the symbols/figures made of twigs. Still, movies are subjective, so it can be boring for you personally.
