Counterpoint: Consider biological age. Given that link doesn't immediately break his kneecaps and die upon leaving the shrine of resurrection, we can safely assume that Link isn't 120+. Also, mental age. If Link had still been awake and living during the entire century, you'd still have an argument, but Link was asleep and is very much non-senile. Saying Link is supposed to be in a nursing home is one of the most out-of-left-field things you could possibly say given these things. Personally, I don't really do BOTW ships, since Zelink is so obvious, but Paya x Link seems very possible.

But counter-counterpoint, link is 117 (I know his age) and Paya is only like 17, one hundred year age gap. It’s like when Purah used the de aging thing. She looks 6, but is like 126 or something. It works the same way. Both Zelda and link are technically 117, while everyone else is still in their double digits

But counter-counter-counterpoint, again, look at link. If he was clearly an old man with stringy grey hair and crap, we'd know his biological age was an old guy, and if he was super, super, senile we'd know he was an old guy, but neither of those are true. I'm not saying, "Age is just a number!" like those annoying guys, I'm just saying that link is by no means an old guy. Heck, like I already said, he wasn't even conscious while he was in the Shrine of Ressurection!

And also, Paya is shy while link is outgoing and courageous, so it wouldn’t be a good match

I thought we were arguing over whether it was cursed and weird, not whether they were a good match. Frankly, Link isn't a good match for ANYONE. His personality is nonexistent, he reincarnates into loving someone else every other game, and he's practically godlike within an hour of the game starting.
