*shrugs* | random question. do i actually belong in this stream? or do i go to middle school; I'm australian, so we don't have middle school, just primary and high. But the grade i'm in (8) and my age seems like it's supposed to be in middle school, so idk if i can still be here or not. Some schools in Australia have started using middle school model as a transition stage. You gave fewer teachers (like 1 teacher for English/HSIE and 1 for Maths/Science). You move classrooms less often than you would in High School. Middle Schools in Australia are usually a part of a K12 school and Y5-8 is middle school.
So you’d be High School next year under that model.
