Senator John Kennedy has made an extraordinary claim.
He says he has personally reviewed classified U.S. intelligence showing that Iran was rapidly expanding its missile and drone arsenal with the capability to threaten not only Israel and the Middle East—but eventually Europe.
According to Kennedy, the intelligence indicated Iran intended to tell the West:
"We're restarting our nuclear weapons program... and if you try to stop us... our missiles can now reach London, Paris and Germany."
Kennedy says President Trump faced a defining choice:
Allow Iran to continue building that capability...
Or act before it became a reality.
His conclusion was simple:
"And he did."
If Senator Kennedy's description of the intelligence is correct, the implications extend far beyond the Middle East.
It means the security of Europe—including London—may have been part of the calculation behind President Trump's decision.
