If there's a story, tell his story. But all we hear is "Sousukey Solos" on repeat the nanosecond someone mentions an OC.

In the beginning, there was only Ulta. And from nothing, Ulta created the Ultaverse, an expanse so vast that Gods needed to create laws of math to attempt to explain it. The Ultaverse contains a number greater than infinite amount of Omniverses. Each Omniverse has an infinite number of universes inside and are controlled by a supreme God. One such Omniverse had all of fiction and more. Ulta created three Gods to control the Ultaverse's three planes of existence; Aruel controlling the Physical Plane, Kahl-Sin controlling the Astral Plane, and Fate controlling the Metaphysical Plane. However, along with the Ultaverse, there was a byproduct; Armageddon, the end of the story destined to destroy everything Ulta created. Armageddon was not yet needed in Ulta's vision of perfection, so Ulta created a fourth plane, the Afterlife. And Ulta also created Gleis to be the supreme God of that plane. The Afterlife is made up of the Funnel, which is a magnet to keep Armageddon in The Abyss - the second layer from which there is no escape. The Funnel, however, also brings in the souls of dead Gods and people not tethered to a religious afterlife such as Heaven or Hell, giving Armageddon a power source. And THAT. Is just the background lore.
Sousuke's buildup begins in the omniverse containing all of fiction and the real world with two Gods of creation, Ap-Kalu and Errazom, getting fed up with Aruel, who ruled over the omniverse with an iron fist. Aruel is a perfectionist, his mind is set on making sure Ulta's vision is seen through no matter what. And Ap-Kalu and Errazom begin trying to make a human blueprint that can take a little of Aruel's power and grow it to insane proportions. With the help of Oorak, God of Time and Space, they make two successful human fetuses. They put the fetuses in women from two different universes, one being in the real world. And that's when Sousuke Kobayashi is born.
Sousuke was born into a loving family, he had a brother, good grades in high school, the body of a Greek statue (minus the smol pp, his was big), and a genuinely lovely girlfriend. All until he was ripped away from his perfect life at the age of seventeen by a rift created by Oorak to begin his Wacky Adventure (wacky is sarcastic, he suffers A LOT).
The first rift takes him to a world of two groups of titans at war, the benevolent titans and the evil titans. Sousuke is taken in by the good titans and is trained for a year straight to use a sword the size of a car (cont.)

The sword was called the Goliath Greatsword, and Sousuke used it to kill Errazom, General of the evil titans. You might be wondering why there are two Errazoms, but read on, I'll explain everything. Sousuke is hailed as a hero of the titans and is celebrated. All until nightfall where another rift takes him. And oh yeah, that world was basically a lie. It was a test set up by Ap-Kalu and Errazom to further Sousuke on his Wacky Adventure.
The rift this time takes Sousuke to Oorak's Domain. Where he reveals to Sousuke that he was the one who took him away and that Sousuke was a manufactured weapon. Sousuke is pretty pissed that his perfect life was taken by divine intervention but Oorak simply sends him through another rift.
This rift takes Sousuke to the universe of Hell. And Sousuke is immediately flooded with fury, so he goes berserk. Reminder that Sousuke is strong enough to deal with a titan the size of the Empire State Building stomping on him and be able to push back against the foot just fine, so the demons of Hell stand no chance as Sousuke takes his anger out on them. While beating up demons, he comes across a goblin chained to a torture device, he chokes out a plea for help and claims he can help Sousuke in return. Sousuke helps the goblin down and clothes him. The goblin's name is Blight, and he was being tortured for touching a powerful sword he was told to guard. Blight takes up a weapon and leads the way to the Hell Slayer, a sword of gilded steel forged in the hottest fires of Hell capable of killing Gods. So Sousuke of course takes it. After a while longer of fighting, Satan has Sousuke taken before him and offers Sousuke power. But Satan then recognizes Sousuke as being connected to the Gods and grows fearful. He sends a horde on Sousuke and he holds out for awhile before getting knocked into the Lake of Fire. But Sousuke crawls out, burned but alive. The fire forged his soul, concept, and being into one, giving Sousuke the ability to move between planes of existence without using drastic measures. Satan begs for his life and offers Sousuke anything. He's about to strike him down, but he hears the tortured wails of a girl. He deduces that she's seventeen and orders that she be released. Satan obliges and the shaken up girl is taken to Sousuke, who dresses her and tries to calm her down. But not before he, Blight, and the girl are taken through another rift (cont.)

The rift takes the trio to what appears to be Heaven, but is actually where Gods hang out when they don't have domains. Domains are simple, they're made by Gods and when the God is inside their domain, they are omniscient to all inside their domain, omnipresent within it, and can't be killed in it. Oorak approaches and remarks that he didn't mean to bring the girl and Blight, but oh well. He begins leading the trio away, which is when the girl finally recovers enough to reveal her name to be Akane and to be actually eighteen, like Sousuke. Oorak takes them to Sousuke's very creators, Ap-Kalu and Errazom. After mending Sousuke's wounds, he asks why Errazom is alive if he killed a titan named Errazom. Which is when it's revealed that it was a test and that the titan was Errazom's vessel. Vessels are simple, they're made by Gods and are very powerful and durable, and even more so when a God is currently possessing one, but if the vessel is killed with the God inside, the God dies too. Ap-Kalu reveals to Sousuke that he can move into the Metaphysical and Astral Planes with his physical body. They teach him how to do it and have him fight Zeus, who's domain happens to be this area. So Sousuke thinks smart and moves into the Metaphysical Plane, where Zeus' domain does not expand into, and destroys his concept with the Hell Slayer. After that tutorial, Sousuke, Akane, and Blight are all thrown through another rift. (Cont.)

The rift takes them to a giant labyrinth. And it is HOT, like oven hot. Blight is fine because he's from Hell, but Sousuke and Akane are struggling. Sousuke sees no other option but to push forward. On the way, Akane and Sousuke exchange life stories to distract themselves, which is a segue into Akane's backstory. She was a rebellious kid, never listened to her parents. When she was seventeen, she joined a satanic cult. On her birthday, she was "asked," by the leader to have sex with him. When she refused, they sacrificed her to Satan, taking her physical body, not just her soul, to Hell. After days of wandering and drinking their own piss, they come across a Hydra at the end of the Labyrinth. Sousuke and Blight are exhausted, but they draw their respective weapons anyways. Sousuke tried to instant win button the fight by moving into the metaphysical plane, but he's way too deprived of sleep and nutrition to do so. After getting smacked around A LOT, Sousuke is eaten. But Sousuke locks the f in and beheads it from the inside. Knowing it would regenerate, he uses everything he has to move into the metaphysical plane and delete the concept of it's regeneration, he barely makes it back. On Death's doorstep again, Blight cuts away parts of the Hydra and feeds it to Sousuke. After a lot of violent vomiting from everyone from eating to Hydra meat raw, another rift opens and takes them. The rift takes them back to where they were before, where they're all healed up and Sousuke is taken back to Ap-Kalu and Errazom. They proceed to fuse the Hell Slayer to his body, soul, and concept, making it even more powerful and convenient because he can now put it back in him and summon it whenever he wants, whereas it has been dead weight up until now. With that, Sousuke, Akane, and Blight are sent to the real world, to Sousuke's home. Where his parents are moving out. He stops them and they are shocked to see him, for all they knew, he disappeared a year ago. The school held a memorial, his girlfriend moved on, but most devastating was that his brother killed himself and that his father became an abusive drunk. Instead of selling the house like they were going to, they instead change it and rewrite the papers under Sousuke's name and SSN. Luckily, they kept all of his stuff. But as they leave and the trio settle in, Sousuke feels empty and depressed. Everything he had ever known and wanted to return to all this time only collapsed by the time he got back anyways. After that, they live normal lives, keeping Blight a secret from public eye, Sousuke gets a job at a well-paying construction company, and two years after their return - when Akane and Sousuke are both twenty - they get married. Right after the wedding, in a direct reference to Berserk, they sneak off to a cliffside with a beautiful waterfall and have their first time under a big oak tree. Certainly a happy end. Or is it? From that afternoon under the tree, Katsuki Kobayashi is conceived, and nine months later, born. The next six months go by perfectly. Until Oorak comes back to orders Sousuke to go kill Aruel. To which Sousuke refuses. But Oorak didn't accept that as an answer and he smited Blight right before Sousuke's eyes. A fight breaks out and after nearly loses, Oorak cuts his loses and leaves. But the next day, Aruel appears to Sousuke. He begins telling Sousuke about Ulta's vision of perfection, but Sousuke is hearing none of it, he just barks "I DON'T WANT ANY OF YOUR BULLSHIT! WHERE IS OORAK?!" When Aruel doesn't answer, Sousuke takes up the Hell Slayer and jumps at Aruel, but ends up getting taken through a rift to the center of the Omniverse. Aruel follows and remarks that he thinks Sousuke would ruin Ulta's vision and begins their big battle. And Sousuke gets his ass handed to him. Aruel follows him to the metaphysical plane and simply forces him back into the physical plane where he can't be harmed. And Sousuke dies. Since his body is fused to his soul and concept, his body is taken to the Afterlife. But while in the Funnel, he awakes. Since he still had the Hell Slayer, he severs the chains pulling him deeper towards the Abyss and is given a rift to escape. Right back into the battle. Aruel wasn't expecting this, and he doesn't stop Sousuke from going into the metaphysical plane for some reason, he only defends his concept with everything he has. But Sousuke destroys it, and Aruel is left vulnerable. Sousuke returns to the physical plane and smites Aruel, who explodes with energy. Sousuke is able to absorb some energy, but time stops, and Oorak swoops in using the other successful human as a vessel and steals the rest of Aruel's power. And so their final battle commences. Oorak wanted to take Aruel's place on the Hand of Ulta and was using Sousuke. Oorak took too much power, so it didn't start growing at the rate Sousuke's power did when Aruel exploded. Oorak takes Aruel's domain, the whole omniverse, as his own. Sousuke moves into the metaphysical plane, but Oorak expands there too. But Sousuke gets an idea, he grapples Oorak and moves so fast that he rips into the timeline of the Ultaverse, he simply takes Oorak to a time he didn't exist and finishes him off. When Sousuke returns home, all he can do is collapse into Akane's arms and cry. Having experienced loss, pain, and literal death. (Halfway point).

Three years later, Sousuke is brought before Ulta. Who tells Sousuke that they are to fight. Sousuke doesn't want to, but Ulta makes him fight. Sousuke struggles, but he eventually just outscales Ulta and kills it. Simple enough. He goes back home like nothing happened. Two years after that, Sousuke and Akane are having a "good time," when Sousuke senses something, so he finishes and gets dressed, Akane asks where he's going and he says "North Korea." She's too blissed out to question him. So Sousuke flies out of America and over the ocean and comes across a North Korean nuke. He grabs it by the fin and throws it into space. He then continues to North Korea where he storms Kim's residence and kills him and his entire family. Making him leader of North Korea. He then fixes all of its problems in a single second and appoints a leader, then he goes home. The U.S. Government investigates him because they saw it on their radars (the year is 2073, Sousuke was born in 2048), and they exempt him and his family from all taxes after labeling him as an uncontrollable anomaly. Five years after that event, a 5 year old anomaly escapes containment, this one can manipulate reality with his imagination and his screams kill everyone within a 1 mile radius. The government evacuates the area and Sousuke goes to take care of it, the five year old makes up stuff, but the reality manipulation doesn't work on Sousuke. He grabs the child and he screams at point blank, making Sousuke's ears bleed (which is really saying something). He reads the child's memories. At his birth, the child killed all the doctors and his mother with his birthing cries, where he was taken into containment by the government and imprinted on his handler as his mother. Knowing Akane looked similar, he took the child to Akane, who soothed the child while Sousuke - barely keeping his cool - snapped the child's neck to end his misery. Fifteen years after that, Katsuki is married to an American woman named Rose and has a newborn daughter, Aiko. But Aiko gets SIDS and dies in the middle of the night, after that, Katsuki and Rose hang themselves. Sousuke and Akane are devastated. And as if Sousuke couldn't catch a break, Gleis informs Sousuke that Armageddon is escaping early and that Sousuke needs to deal with it. Sousuke is taken by Gleis, Fate, Kahl-Sin, Aruel, and Ulta (who can't die permanently, they just come back) to the Abyss, where he fights Armageddon. (Cont.)

But Armageddon escapes, Sousuke follows, but their fight destroys 75% of the Ultaverse before Sousuke kills him. Over 45 more years, Akane ages, Sousuke does not; being immortal, he never aged past twenty. Akane is on her deathbed at the age of 90, and Sousuke can't take it anymore. She makes him promise not to cry,and those are the last words she ever says before death. Sousuke just sits there for hours, going through his whole life in his head. He finally stands up, walks out, and flies to the edge of the Ultaverse, where he uses his power to explode and kill himself. That should be the end, but it isn't. He's turned into an omniverse made of his flesh and blood. He becomes the fifth plane, the Plane of Suffering. Every planet and star is made of his bone and blood and muscle. And all of the inhabitants are echoes of his knowledge and memories, which means that the inhabitants are copies of the inhabitants of all of the Ultaverse, just made of Sousuke. At the center of the Plane of Suffering is the Sousuke Core, a very large and infinitely dense orb of Sousuke's power. His power still grows at the same rate, making the orb get denser (not larger, though). Inside the Sousuke Core is Sousuke's own purgatory. Being inside will flood your mind with the most horrible things in the Ultaverse. Humans don't last 3 seconds, Ulta can barely last 30 minutes. But that's the end of Sousuke's story. There's still more (A LOT MORE.), but Sousuke isn't nearly as involved. Also, the title of this story is "The Wacky Adventure of Sousuke Kobayashi." Thanks for reading.

Why didn't Soupsoupke just give Akane immortality with all his infinite power?

Because that wasn't what she wanted, she didn't want the burden of eternal life.
