All of us are born into sin: "For I was born a sinner— yes, from the moment my mother conceived me." (Psalm 51:5 NLT)
Because of this spiritual and physical death (see Genesis 3) we need to be born again (see John 3).
Does the spiritual rebirth mean we are perfect? No! (see Ecclesiastes 7:20; Romans 3:12; 1 John 1:8).
When will the perfection come? When we experience the physical rebirth (see Luke 24:39 and Philippians 3:21).
Although someone is born again, the physical body and human nature remain subject to frailty, illness, and the ongoing struggle with sin in this lifetime (see Romans 7:13-25).
