i don't get it

It’s so hot that everything’s really dried out and catching on fire. The cacti have come alive because they’re so angry about it being so hot. Basically just ‘cartoon craziness’.

why the hell would cacti out of everything else come alive because it's really hot 😭 if you put it that way then they're constantly enraged because of their natural biome

It’s a Buni comic. There’s not a lot of reality to most of these. They’re just being as crazy and absurd as possible. As you’ve already seen, they always have inanimate objects like food and plants coming to life and doing silly things that wouldn’t be possible in real life. The cacti are just one example of that.

i genuinely view inanimate objects coming to life much more understandable than cacti going mad because of heat
