It’s comparing the images with each other. The brain is jumping into a big tub of hearts. It’s getting an “overload of love” at the same time that Buni is getting the same thing from all of the love that the puppies are giving him. It’s showing what his brain is experiencing while the dogs are being affectionate to him.
