The problem is Minecraft has building.
Dungeons doesn't.
And dungeons has an end, if you buy all DLC's and play all of the levels you're basically done with the game.
In normal Minecraft you have thousands of mods to get (for free or for minecoins, depends on version) and if you win the ender dragon fight you can do many other things in your world and one of them is building which has a ton of possibilities.
