free speech is only an american thing, it doesn't pertain to MSMG.
the only way it WOULD pertain to MSMG is if someone were to SUE garfieldfan for his actions, which are protected under the first admendment.
it could pertain to imgflip as a whole too, since it's a California-based site, but we're talking leaf vs mods, not leaf vs imgflip.
